Dentist Role vs. bitesoft Role
Clear breakdown of responsibilities in every case
Dentist’s Role
-
Perform the initial patient appointment (exam, scan, photos, X-rays if needed).
-
Provide clinical notes with observations or preferences.
-
Place attachments or perform IPR if included in the plan.
-
Deliver and fit the aligners to the patient.
-
Complete any in-chair follow-up.
-
Support patient confidence in the treatment journey.
Bitesofts Role
-
Acquire and pre-screen patients through marketing and e-consults.
-
Manage patient onboarding and scheduling.
-
Create the treatment plan via our orthodontic team, with PDF + video explanation.
-
Provide orthodontist oversight and 1:1 consults if needed.
-
Handle patient compliance monitoring via bitesoftMonitoring™ (dentist is only notified if escalation is required).
-
Cover lab fees, refinements, and logistics (shipping, packaging, retainers).
-
Ensure partner clinics are pre-paid within 48 hours of patient commitment.
-
Provide training, webinars, and access to the Partner Hub for ongoing support.
Key Point:
Dentists focus only on the high-value, in-chair work, while bitesoft takes care of everything else patient acquisition, admin, monitoring, refinements, and payments.
