What We Treat

Bitesoft is designed to manage mild to moderate malocclusions efficiently, with orthodontist oversight on every case. Examples include:

• Mild to moderate crowding (≤ 6 mm)

• Mild to moderate spacing (≤ 6 mm)

• Class I and mild Class II malocclusions

• Overbite / overjet correction within predictable ranges

• Mild crossbites where expansion is not required

• Midline discrepancies 

• Relapse cases (post-ortho)

What We Refer Out

Certain complex cases are best managed by conventional techniques. These include:

• Severe skeletal discrepancies (Class II or III requiring surgery)

• Open bites with strong vertical growth patterns

• Severe rotations (especially canines/molars > 30°)

• Crowding or spacing > 6 mm per arch

• Multiple missing teeth requiring restorative-driven planning

• Complex crossbites needing expansion or functional appliances

• Patients with active periodontal disease or poor oral health compliance (your practice can treat them until up to standard)

Every patient goes through a pre-eConsult with bitesoft before their first appointment. During this step, our team screens the case and ensures it fits within safe treatment criteria. This means the majority of unsuitable cases are filtered out before they ever reach your chair. If there’s ever any uncertainty after submission, our orthodontic team will review all records and confirm whether the case is appropriate for bitesoft treatment or should be referred out.
